On August 13, 2005, Little River Marina celebrated its first annual National Marina Day. Marina Day recognizes the important recreational, environmental, social and economic
contributions marinas make to thousands of waterfront communities across the United States.
LRM had numerous activities for adults and their kids. The activities included horseshoes, moonwalk, dunk tank, Hooters wings, DJ entertainment, food and beverages, and
many more fun filled activities that were available to the public.
